Laser
Hair Removal
How
does laser hair removal work?
Laser hair removal is a process that utilizes
laser energy to destroy the root of the
hair preventing re-growth.
How
many treatments will I need?
Hair growth has several phases of growth.
Each treatment destroys hairs that are in
an active phase, some treatments take as
little as 4 to 6 sessions. Sessions are
spaced 6 to 7 weeks apart depending on the
area being treated.
What
do I have to do to prepare for a laser treatment?
The area has to be shaved prior to treatment.
The shorter the hair the better the result.
You can shave all you want between sessions,
but you cannot wax or pluck hairs.
Can
I have tan and still have laser hair removal
done?
Yes, the new technology allows tanned patients
the benefit of hair removal. However for
the best results we suggest limiting sun
exposure two weeks prior to your visit.
Does
laser work on all skin types?
Yes, the laser will work on all skin types.

than others. We provide all necessary tools

available if needed.
Laser
Acne Care
Laser Acne Care –
Acne can be a very difficult problem for
teenagers, young adults and even people
in their middle years. Oral or topical antibiotics
have some effect but rarely provide an ideal
solution of erasing acne and making your
skin as smooth and clear as it can be. Over
the counter medications and heavily promoted
products rarely deliver what is promised.
If they did, there would be no need for
so much promotion. The natural application
of light energy through our versatile Laser/IPL
(intense pulsed light) – photofacial
therapy can bring acne under control when
used with the proper combination of hormone
assessment and skin care. This is designed
to address the type of acne you
have. Call and ask us how we can help you
get almost immediate results with a truly
holistic approach to a
healthy skin.
Laser
Vein Removal
The latest technology
in spider vein removal is here. Now one
laser therapy can remove red and blue spider
veins from all areas of the body.
How
does the treatment work?
The laser delivers pulses of energy to the
vein. This causes the blood supply in the
vein to coagulate and eventually destroy
the vessel.
How
long does this process take?
The process takes only several minutes depending
on the number of blood vessels and the location.
How
many treatments are needed?
Most often one treatment is all that is
needed, however this depends on the number
of vessels being treated. If a large area
or a number of vessels are being treated
several visits may be needed.
Is
there any down time to this treatment?
Following the treatment there may
be some bruising, mild redness or swelling
this subsides with in a few days. If large
vessels are treated a pigmented area may
persist for a few weeks or months but will
diminish.
When
can I see results?
Most veins will vanish at the time of treatment;
others will show improvement within three
to six weeks.
Are
there any restrictions on my activities?
We suggest avoiding exercising for 24 hours
after the procedure especially if having
leg veins done.
