Appointment Policy (GAPP)
History
The general public is
accustomed to waiting for physician appointments.
Historically, physicians have been known
to get behind on their scheduled appointment
times by as much as several hours depending
on daily circumstances. The trend of physician
waiting times has become so prevalent that
many patients change doctors for this reason
alone. The issue for of waiting time for
the doctor appears to devalue the patients’
time. This is not acceptable and is the
very reason for this policy.
Purpose
In an effort to increase and improve the
value of the services provided by its physicians,
Elle Medical Spa will make its best efforts
to reverse the common negative public opinion
that physicians devalue their patients’
time. An additional purpose of this policy
is to improve public relations, defy current
trend and practice and offer a service policy
for its physicians as unique as the medical
spa facility itself.
Policy
Elle Medical Spa will guarantee that its
patients/clients will be provided face to
face, private access to the consulting physician
within a seven (7) minute window of the
scheduled time. Appointments meeting criteria
for a guaranteed appointment time will be
clearly marked as such in the scheduling
book. A unique guaranteed appointment time
number will be assigned and recorded. Patients
desirous of a guaranteed appointment time
will be expected to provide payment in advance
as described in the Policy Scope.
Scope
This policy regarding guaranteed appointment
times will extend to physician consultations
and services offered directly by the physician(s).
The policy does not apply to any other service
offered by Elle Medical Spa including but
not limited to: walk-in urgent consults,
on-the-spot referrals from others, aesthetic
services, massage services, laser services,
injections, IV’s, Oxygen Therapy,
Facial Peels, or Microdermabrasion procedures.
The policy does not apply for breaks or
interludes that may occur from time to time
during the process of a consultation or
service offered directly by the physician(s).
The policy shall apply only to two session
(30 minute) advance-paid appointments (paid
by cash, credit card, debit card, spa gift
card or check) made at least forty eight
(48) hours in advance of the scheduled consultation
time.
